Payment method when ordering an ESD (electronic software download)

The following notes apply if G Data OR a G Data partner OR one of our subsidiaries is your contract partner.
With electronic software download (ESD) purchases, when you click the <Submit order> button after the final step of the ordering process in your basket (confirm order), you will immediately receive an email containing your invoice. In this email you will also find all data specific to you, including your G Data registration number. Please enter this registration number when installing the software you have downloaded to activate it.
In the country you selected at the upper right on this web site and in which the goods are to be delivered, the biller is G Data Software AG. Please direct any questions or issues regarding invoicing or delivery of goods you have ordered to:

If G Data Software AG is your contract partner, the following payment methods for ESD (electronic software download) purchases are available both in Germany and in other European countries: credit card payment, debit card payment, online transfer and payment in advance. In non-EU countries and in Poland, the available payment methods depend upon the partner or subsidiary company. You can find out more on the relevant partner or subsidiary company web site.

Payment method for box product orders

The following notes only apply if G Data Software AG is your contract partner. Otherwise our partner's or subsidiary company's terms shall apply.
If you are purchasing a G Data box product, the following payment methods are available: credit card payment.
Product delivery time - not for electronic software download (ESD) - depends upon the payment method selected and the delivery service used.
If you are paying by direct debit, the goods will be despatched when payment is received.
If you have selected credit card payment, debit card payment, online transfer, payment in advance, payment on invoice (delivery address must be identical to the invoice address, unless you are a Security Partner and participate in our partner programme!) or payment on delivery as your payment method, the goods will be sent when the order is received.
Please note that, for cash on delivery within Germany, Deutsche Post will charge a fee of EUR 4.00 incl. a handling fee of EUR 2.00 that is not covered by G Data .
For payments on delivery abroad, Deutsche Post charges the following fees: EUR 3.10  delivery fee, with an additional EUR 1.00  for liability on goods with a value of up to EUR 100.00 and a further EUR 2.05 added to the fee for registered delivery. In addition, there is a charge of EUR 5.00 for money transfer within the EU and EUR 11.00 for non-EU countries.
Delivery costs for box products
With direct debit payments, G Data will cover the costs of delivery. Thus delivery within Germany is usually free for you.
The charges for postage and packing are Euro 3.95 G Data will also cover this despatch fee for order values in excess of 25.00 Euro.
The following small packet fees apply abroad: EUR 8.60 within the EU and EUR 12.90 for the Deutsche Post World ('Welt') zone. You can find UPS rates at www.ups.com. We generally prefer to send via UPS as this service is faster and more secure and you have the ability to track your goods via the tracking number issued with each UPS delivery. Unfortunately payment on delivery is not available with this option.
