AV-Comparatives awards double gold for highest malware recognition

The independent institute AV-Comparatives has spent 12 months researching the effectiveness of 20 current security packages. G Data InternetSecurity 2011 was awarded the coveted gold seal of approval in no less than two categories for its outstanding protection technologies. In the testers' opinion, no other security solution protected Windows PCs against known and unknown computer malware more effectively than G Data InternetSecurity 2011.

The Innsbruck-based institute carried out numerous different tests on virus protection solutions and Internet security packages over the past year.
