Microsoft has awarded G Data "Gold Independent Software Vendor (ISV)" status, elevating it to the top tier of its partner programme. Before awarding gold status, Microsoft assesses and rates providers and their products in a range of different areas.

The comprehensive certification process not only focuses on the innovative qualities of the software products, but also looks at their reliability and security in combination with Windows operating systems and other applications as overriding factors of consideration.

"We are very pleased with this award as it serves to highlight G Data's innovative products as well as the high standards we have in place to ensure customer satisfaction," said Dr Dirk Hochstrate, Board member of G Data Software AG. In addition to product-related quality criteria, Microsoft also appraises G Data’s customer satisfaction, which met the strict certification criteria with above-average results.
