CeBIT premieres: G Data introduces its new antivirus technology
German security expert to present five innovations in Hanover
From 5 till 9 March, the international IT industry will once again be convening at CeBIT in Hanover. With "shareconomy" as this year's key note, the world's biggest IT trade fair will be focusing on networked and distributed business processes. Protecting the IT infrastructure against data espionage and cyber attacks is of critical importance here. After several years of development, G Data will be introducing its brand new antivirus technology: G Data CloseGap – active hybrid protection. This technology provides fast, effective protection against computer malware. In addition to this technological highlight, the German IT security provider will be presenting new business solutions that feature the PatchManagement module. PatchManagement enables companies to close security gaps in the operating system and key applications before they become a target for attackers. The industry leader will also be introducing G Data AntiVirus 2014, G Data InternetSecurity 2014 and G Data TotalProtection 2014 at CeBIT 2013. These new security solutions for home users already include the new CloseGap technology. Trade visitors can find G Data at CeBIT in Hall 12, Booth C41.
"This year, we will be using CeBIT as the platform for introducing our brand new, innovative antivirus technology to an international trade audience. Thanks to this new ‘Made in Germany’ G Data technology, we will be providing our customers with even faster and more effective protection against online threats," explains Frank Heisler, G Data Director. "In addition to the technology presentation, we will be demonstrating not only how our business solutions help companies fend off cyber and malware attacks, but also how they can use G Data PatchManagement to deal with potential vulnerabilities in the software they are using."
