G Data security solutions available immediately for Windows 7
Free program upgrades for Vista's successor
"Doubtless, Microsoft will have made its own preparations for the security of the new operating system, but it's an absolute certainty that Windows 7 doesn't come with professional security software. In this respect, G Data customers can rely completely on the usual high quality of our products and are immediately entitled to a free upgrade to the Windows 7 versions. Obviously these continue to be suitable for all Vista and Windows XP variants," explains G Data Board Member Dr Dirk Hochstrate.
G Data upgrade policy: simple, quick and free
Customers can now find the relevant upgrades for their 2010 program versions available as self-executable program files from a protected download area on the G Data website. Access to the download area is only available to registered G Data customers. Legitimation takes place through the input of the login data, user name and password, which were transferred by the G Data update server when registering the previous version. The program upgrades can be found at the support centre of the G Data website: www.gdata.de/support/top-themen/upgradeservice.html.
