G Data exhibits at Channel Expo 2010

German security software vendor sets out to build UK channel

04/21/2010 | Bochum (Germany)

Bochum (Germany), 21 April 2010 – G Data will be exhibiting at Channel Expo, which will take place on May 12 and 13 at the National Hall Olympia in London. It will be the first all UK channel show for the IT security company, that has announced it will focus on the UK market this year, building up not only a local team, but also a strong channel.

James Coombes, UK Channel Sales Manager, thinks G Data has a lot to offer potential channel partners: “Our product portfolio is stable and effective, with consistently high malware detection rates. G Data want to build solid relationships through our partner program. Partners can expect great support and can earn credits that can be used for, amongst other things, co-marketing projects and other business development ideas. Add this  to an extremely reliable back office and great margins and you get, at least in my opinion a flexible and reliable relationship.”

Visitors of the G Data booth at Channel Expo can learn more about the partner program whilst getting introduced to the newest products of the G Data product line, which consists of both B2B and B2C solutions:

-          Business 10.5 and G Data ClientSecurity Enterprise 10.5
These new solutions profit from the high detection rate of G Data and are also very user friendly. G Data ClientSecurity Business 10.5 and ClientSecurity Enterprise 10.5 have a client-firewall that’s managed centrally. Thanks to the use of highly intuitive administration tools, the configuration of complex firewall rules is easy without any form of training or manual. System managers can easily create different sets of rules for different groups with dialogues, wizards or from reports. Thanks to this, they can finish this process in a fraction of the normal time and save heavily on the costs of IT management.

-          G Data EndpointProtection Business and G Data EndpointProtection Enterprise

The G Data flagship is the ideal security solution for small, medium and large corporate computer networks. The new G Data technologies form an unassailable fortress providing effective protection against all types of attacks on the IT infrastructure as well as offering optimum protection against laptop, desktop and server malware threats.
