Kai Figge

Managing Director

 

Kai Figge is one of the co-founders who brought G DATA into being as a garage shop in 1985. He has supervised the technological transition from the start and set out a clear customer perspective for the products and service. As a board member he is today responsible for the finance, personnel and internal organisation departments. In the competition for the best minds, his job is to make G DATA attractive as an employer. Lifelong learning in the in-house Academy, sports activities and events held in a culturally integrative atmosphere are among the things that distinguish the special G DATA spirit.


Andreas Lüning

Managing Director

 

As co-founder of G DATA Software AG, Andreas Lüning has been influencing the orientation of the oldest IT security company around today from the very start. As head of strategic development, the IT specialist promoted and coordinated the technological focus of the company's targets. As of April 2013 he is the board member responsible for all of the companies technical resources and will be working with teams of employees to continue developing G DATA Software AG into a leading security technology company.


Walter Schumann

Managing Director

 

Since September 2014, the board of G DATA Software AG has been strengthened by the addition of Walter Schumann, who takes responsibility for the sales and marketing sector. Besides developing the company's market position in the German-speaking territory, he is also responsible for developing all international areas of trade. The new CSO brings more than 25 years' experience in the software and IT security arena, mostly in international management positions. Most recently Walter Schumann was general manager and vice president of international sales at German email security provider Eleven GmbH.

Frank Heisler

General Manager G DATA Service GmbH

 

Frank Heisler has been with G DATA since 1991. In his function as CEO of G DATA Service GmbH, he is responsible for the new business area of IT security services. His declared goals are the establishment and development of tailored B2B services and positioning them in the international market. Before Frank Heisler took over this new job in September 2014, he was head of national and international sales and was a member of the board of G DATA Software AG from 2006 to 2014.


Kirsten Klatt

Strategic Marketing


Kirsten Klatt, MBA and business graduate, has held her current position at G DATA since October 2013. Prior to that, she worked as the Global Head of Marketing at DHL Supply Chain. After starting her professional career at the GREY advertising agency, she changed industries in 2000 and held various marketing functions for Compaq Computers in Norway, Hewlett-Packard in Australia and Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA. At G DATA she is responsible for developing and implementing a global marketing strategy. 

 


Ralf Benzmüller

Head of SecurityLabs

 

As head of G DATA Security Labs, Ralf Benzmüller and his team of experts are constantly fully up to speed with what new trends and subjects are occurring in antivirus research, in close cooperation with international IT security research institutes all over the world. His remit includes the identification, analysis and assessment of new attack scenarios plus the development of new, proactive protection concepts that effectively protect users from still unknown threats on the Internet. Ralf Benzmüller has worked for G DATA since 1999 and has also been a guest lecturer for the IT Security course at the International School of IT Security since 2008.


Michael St. Neitzel

Head of Strategic Development

 

Michael St. Neitzel is responsible for the areas of technology and research, malware analysis, automation technology and the core components of quality assurance. An experienced technical manager, Michael St. Neitzel has successfully planned and executed product development and release projects for renowned international companies. For him, technology is only completely successful if it is hard to distinguish from magic. To bring this intention to reality, analysis, research, development and testing are carried out on a daily basis.


Ralf Hilker

Head of Application Development

 

Maximum security with minimum use of resources is the challenge facing Ralf Hilker and his team every day. His main tasks include planning and coordination of all development activities, the implementation of new protection technologies in products for private users, network solutions for business customers, and mobile applications. The qualified IT specialist started working for G DATA as a software developer in 2000 and has been head of application development since 2010. Before joining G DATA, Ralf Hilker was a freelance developer and programmer for various international IT companies.


Hendrik Flierman

Head of Quality Assurance

 

As technical product manager and head of quality assurance, Hendrik Flierman is responsible for all test management in the G DATA protection programme for consumers, business solutions and mobile applications. The qualified application development specialist has many years' experience in the IT security environment and has worked for G DATA Software AG since 2005.


Michael Zimmer

Managing Sales Director

 

Michael Zimmer's responsibilities include strategic orientation of international sales and the development of G DATA's international business. The penetration of key markets and the development of new revenue potential are the central challenges here. Michael Zimmer has been involved with sales management at G DATA since 1999 and has been attorney since 2011.


Helmut Reketat

Global Sales Director

 

In his capacity as Global Sales Director, Helmut Reketat is responsible for operational sales globally for G DATA. His central goal is to continue developing cooperation with the channel alongside the standard retail business and to set the collaboration with retailers and system houses on a broader basis. Helmut Reketat had already been working for G DATA for 17 years before taking over responsibility for all sales activity as head of retail sales.


Kevin Paarmann

Head of Service Center

 

Competent, fast assistance with every customer enquiry, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is guaranteed by Kevin Paarmann and his support team. Kevin Paarmann began his career with G DATA as a student assistant in customer service in 2006. Following his studies in business information systems, he became a member of and team leader for the quality assurance department, and has been head of the G DATA Service Center since 2011.



Thorsten Urbanski

PR Manager

 

Thorsten Urbanski, Public Relations Manager, who has an Master of Arts in communication science, heads up national and international business communication for G DATA Software AG. He is head of the TeleTrust working group "IT Security made in Germany" and is a member of the scientific advisory panel of the German trade fair initiative "CeBIT against Cybercrime".


Manfred Henning

Central Purchasing

 

Head of the central purchasing department since 2011, Manfred Henning is responsible for providing the company with goods and services. The objective of his work here is to promote and continually develop purchasing processes of any type within the company. Manfred Henning has been with the company since 2001. As head of customer service previously, he was substantially involved in the formation and ongoing development of the G DATA ServiceCenter.


Eric Mpongo

Head of Controlling

 

Eric Mpongo has been head of controlling and audits for G DATA since November 2008. The qualified economist can look back on years of professional experience and is responsible for the areas of tax, investment controlling and risk management at G DATA.


Christoph Budke

Head of Finance/Authorized signatory

 

Christoph Budke, a qualified business economist, has been working as Head of Finance for G DATA since December 2013. In a 25-year professional career in finance and accounting, he has worked for renowned international groups in London and Oslo, as well as German companies and groups.

Besides being in charge of debitor, creditor and payroll accounting, he is responsible for generating the annual statement of accounts and controlling credit management, as well as financial and liquidity control for the company. As our recognized expert in accounting, he is in touch on behalf of G DATA with public authorities, tax and audit inspectors, lawyers, insurance companies and finance institutes alike.


Thorsten Kraft

Thorsten Kraft has been part of the G DATA team since 1992 and hence is one of the longest standing employees. His commitment has helped make G DATA a successful company. His job covers the cross-departmental IT infrastructure, strategic ongoing development of this and provision of internal technical support.

Besides his activities as a member of the supervisory board of G DATA Software AG, this PhD economist is also an executive partner of BRCG - Dr. Bergmann Dr. Rohde & consulting group GmbH in Bochum. The business is one of the leading marketing and sales consultancies in the IT sector. Dr. Bergmann has been a member of the supervisory board at G DATA Software AG since November 2000.


Hartmut Roddewig

This experienced lawyer specializes in employment law, and is a founder and senior partner of an eponymous lawyers' office in Bochum. Hartmut Roddewig has been deputy chairman of the supervisory board of G DATA Software AG since November 2000.


Natalya Kaspersky

Natalya Kaspersky is one of the most important business women in the international IT security industry. The mathematics graduate is a co-founder of Kaspersky Labs and is CEO of the Infowatch Group. Natalya Kaspersky has been a member of the supervisory board of G DATA Software AG since October 2012.


Jean Pütz

Supervisory Board

 

The scientific journalist, moderator, and qualified physicist and sociologist founded the natural science and technology desk at Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR, West German Broadcasting) and has been heading this for 30 years. Furthermore, he created the successful WDR series "Hobbythek" and has acted as its moderator for 30 years as well. At the same time, he has developed and moderated series such as "Wissenschaftsshow" ("Science Show"), "Bilder aus der Wissenschaft" ("Images from Science"), "Dschungel, das Umweltmagazin" ("Jungle, the Environment Magazine") and many more. Jean Pütz  has been a member of the supervisory board of G DATA Software AG since September 2007.
